We are recruiting a Senior Projects Director to join the team located in London. The successful candidate will be seconded to a dedicated global client account and will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of Real Estate professionals in alignment with a consistently evolving set of client requirements.

Within the role, you will be accountable for the overall success of the client account in EMEA. This is defined in terms of successful client delivery, overall financial performance to CBRE and in terms of motivating and coaching a diverse team of Real Estate, Construction and other associated professionals.

Role Summary:

  • Responsible for project delivery services across the EMEA portfolio of projects;
  • Develop nurture and maintain a positive client relationship while understanding the changing client expectations and advocating on behalf of the client to ensure successful project outcomes;
  • Responsible for the overall governance of the Account, including alignment with client and CBRE Corporate processes and procedures;
  • Creates an EH&S minded culture of exceptional quality and innovation;
  • Establish CBRE and client aligned programme and project level goals to continuously manage client and CBRE Corporate expectations;
  • Develop relationships with a vast array of regional and global stakeholders, including but not limited to Corporate Real Estate, Portfolio Planning, Facilities, IT, Security, AV, Events, Food, Health & Well-being, transportation and infrastructure;
  • Continuously seek to improve the operating model and Account systems and processes in accordance with the overall Account Governance;
  • Be an effective change manager;
  • Lead and manage a diverse set of Real Estate & Construction professionals, including project & programme managers, commercial managers, design managers, operations, legal and communications personnel;
  • Is highly visible and accessible to the team and is recognised as the Divisional leader through gravitas and role modelling of company culture and behaviours
  • Develops strategies to coach and improve your direct reports and wider team, build succession plans and a culture of continual personal development.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the Account through membership of the Global Project Management Leadership Team and wider Account Leadership Team;
  • Act as a corporate citizen, working collaboratively as part of a global project management leadership team and with other parts of the global account to achieve Client and Company targets;
  • Act as a role model, ensuring CBRE culture and behaviours are embedded in the Account Team, leading by example to foster co-operation and team work.
  • Experience Required:
  • Relevant Degree qualification with additional post graduate study (desirable);
  • Relevant Sector expertise with strong experience successfully delivering projects in a corporate environment and across multiple geographies and jurisdictions;
  • English language skills both orally and written;
  • Proven track record;
  • Experience delivering multi-million dollar (US) capital programmes within the real estate sector;
  • Experience in understanding, developing and exceeding client relationships;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Proven ability to manage changing client expectations;
  • Resilient;
  • Experience and understanding of the complexities of delivering across the EMEA region;
  • Demonstrable leadership and people skills;
  • An ability to connect with the culture of a client;
  • Analytically minded with strong financial and numerical skills ;
  • Entrepreneurship and a flair for innovation;
  • Proficient in common application software – Gsuite; Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Travel will be required
